§ 32.30 PARK BOARD CREATED.
   The municipal parks of the city are to be operated by a board known as the Park Board, consisting of seven members appointed by the Mayor. One of the members shall be appointed for a one-year term and shall be a member of the City Council, but such member shall hold office only so long as such person is a member of the City Council. The terms of the remaining six members of the Park Board shall be for three years, ending on April 30 in the third year after appointment or until their successors have been appointed. The terms of two such members shall expire each year, provided, however, that the Mayor shall appoint all six other members for terms commencing May 1, 1993, at which time two members shall be appointed for three-year terms, two members shall be appointed for two-year terms, and two members shall be appointed for one-year terms. The number of consecutive terms during which a member may hold the same office shall be limited to three. Members of the Park Board shall serve without remuneration.
