§ 32.03 CHIEF.
   (A)   There is hereby created the office of Chief of Police, who shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council.
   (B)   The Chief shall be the executive head of the Police Department.
   (C)   The Chief shall post bond for faithful performance and shall receive compensation the City Council shall, from time to time, prescribe.
