(A) All connections to the city gas utility system shall be made by the city. The city shall charge for connecting ¾-inch or smaller taps to an existing main in an amount as shall be established from time to time by the City Council, for installation of a service line up to 100 feet in length. For installation of service lines in excess of 100 feet, the city will charge additionally on a time and materials basis for installing the line and equipment.
(B) Service lines, regulators, meters, stop cocks and other fittings larger than those required for a standard connection shall be paid for by the applicant at the actual cost to the city at the time of application.
