§ 35.04 FEES.
   The city shall charge fees reasonably calculated to reimburse its actual cost, excluding search and review costs, for reproducing and certifying public records. Such fees shall be imposed according to standard scale of fees, established and made public by the city. In no event shall any person requesting to inspect or copy records pursuant to this subchapter be allowed the use of city equipment to copy such records. Upon receipt of a request for production and/or certification of public records, the fee for which the city determines may exceed $25, the city shall require a deposit upon receipt of such request in the amount of the expected reproduction and/or certification charge. Any deposit balance shall be paid or refunded upon receipt or delivery of the requested public records.
