(a) The term "canvasser" means any individual, traveling either by foot, wagon, on a mobile home, truck, or any other type of conveyance, from place to place, house to house or street to street, taking or attempting to take orders for the sale of goods, wares, merchandise, or personal property of any nature whatsoever for future delivery or for services to be furnished or performed in the future or for the sale of real estate.
(b) The term "peddler" means any person who carried with him for the purpose of sale and immediate delivery from house to house goods, wares, or merchandise, or personal property of any nature.
(c) The term "solicitor" shall mean any person soliciting funds or accepting contributions for any purpose. (Ord. 13-1979. Passed 8-13-79.)
