Upon approval of the tentative map of subdivision of four lots or”less by the planning commission and within one year thereof, a parcel map shall be prepared by a registered civil engineer or licensed land surveyor and presented to the city engineer, for examination, together with a checking fee of twenty-five dollars and a recording fee of five dollars for the first sheet and two dollars for each additional sheet.
