§ 52.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   Upon conviction for violation of any of the provisions of §§ 52.01 through 52.08, a person shall be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor, subject to a fine not exceeding $100 or imprisonment for 20 days, or both, imposed in the discretion of the Court, unless the violation constitutes a felony under the General Statutes, in which case, such violation shall be punished according to the provisions of the General Statutes.
   (C)   The civil penalty for violation of any provisions of §§ 52.20 through 52.35 shall not exceed $500 per day for each day of continuous violation, or a cumulative or single civil penalty of $10,000. The civil penalty for willful violation of any provision of §§ 52.20 through 52.35 shall not exceed $1,000 per day for each day of a continuous violation, or a cumulative or single civil penalty of $20,000.
