Any costs of abatement incurred by the Village may be passed on to the property owner for payment or reimbursement to the Village. Payment must be made to the Village within fourteen (14) days. The property owner may challenge the amount of the abatement by appealing said cost as provided above. Any costs of abatement ultimately determined to be due and owing to the Village and not paid within fourteen (14) days of a final assessment may be filed as a lien on the property as provided herein or under any applicable state or federal statute.
