The Village President shall be authorized to approve of short-term exemptions from the Prepared Foods Tax under this Chapter, for vendors who are engaged in the sale of prepared foods at a Village-sponsored special event (such as the Independence Day Celebration), on terms and conditions acceptable to the President with the recommendation of the Finance Director.
