The committee shall be composed of members who shall be residents of the village. The members shall be appointed by the village president, with the advice and consent of the village board. One of the members shall be appointed chairperson by the village president, with the advice and consent of the village board. Members shall be appointed to terms of office as shall be required to provide for revolving three (3) year terms, with a roughly equivalent number of persons' terms expiring each year. The total membership of the committee shall be determined based upon the then current number of appointees to the committee, and the number of then current appointees shall also be utilized to determine quorum requirements.
Each member shall serve until his or her respective successor is appointed and qualifies. Each term of office shall commence on May 1. Upon expiration of a member's term, successors shall be appointed for three (3) year terms by the village president, with the advice and consent of the village board. (Ord. 2016-O-09, 5-2-2016)
