8-2-3: TYPES PERMITTED:
The street tree planting shall consist of the following types: (1990 Code §15.505)
   A.   Types with mature height over fifty feet (50'): Norway maple, sugar maple, red maple, black maple, improved silver maple, red oak, scarlet oak, pin oak, white oak, oriental and London plane, sycamore, sycamore maple, American linden, little leaf linden, silver linden, hackberry, thornless honey locust and improved podless varieties, i.e., the moraine locust, ginkgo, tulip tree, Kentucky coffeetree.    B.   Types with mature height under fifty feet (50'): Schwedler maple, crimson king maple, sweet gum, cork tree, yellowwood, golden rain tree.
   C.   Small ornamental types: ironwood, Washington hawthorn, shadblow, red bus, Russian olive, Japanese lilac tree, kobus magnolia, flowering crabs with small fruit (dwarf crabs not permitted). Other types and varieties may be used if approved by the tree committee. (1990 Code §15.505)
