In accordance with 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1-105, public works department equipment and vehicles owned and operated by village of Pingree Grove personnel are hereby designated to be authorized emergency vehicles in the village of Pingree Grove, Illinois, for the following purposes of emergency or disaster situations resulting from natural and domestic conditions: snowstorms; windstorms; rainstorms; fire; explosion; chemical spills; and, other similar situations as approved by the village administrator, chief of police or public works director or supervisor.
