4-2-28: RECORDS KEPT:
   A.   Village Records: The village clerk shall keep a complete record of all licenses issued, and shall furnish the commissioner, finance director and chief of police each with a copy thereof. Upon the issuance of any new license, or the suspension or revocation of any old license, the commissioner shall give written notice of such action to each of these officers.    B.   Licensee Records: It shall be the duty of every retail licensee to make books and records available upon reasonable notice for the purpose of investigation and control by the Illinois liquor control commission or any commissioner having jurisdiction over the licensee. Such books and records need not be maintained on the licensed premises, but must be maintained in the state of Illinois. However, all original invoices covering purchases of alcoholic liquor must be retained on the licensed premises for a period of ninety (90) days after such purchase. (Ord. 2009-34, 10-5-2009)
