A. Village License And Compliance Required: It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale at retail in the village any alcoholic liquor without having a retail liquor dealer's license or in violation of the terms of such license.
B. State License Required: Except in those circumstances in which the state of Illinois liquor control commission requires evidence of a local liquor license first, the village shall only issue a valid liquor license when the licensee provides a copy of the license issued by the state of Illinois liquor control commission. If the village is required to issue a local liquor license first under state law, such issuance shall be contingent upon the issuance of a state liquor license. (Ord. 2009-34, 10-5-2009)
