The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the Mayor and Council and subject to the general supervision of the Town Administrator. The Chief shall be responsible for the discipline, good order and conduct of the Department, shall keep the Council informed of the Department's activities, make such reports as the Council may from time to time require, and shall perform any other duties as may be required of him or her by the Council.
