§ 31.16 TOWN ATTORNEY.
   The Town Attorney has the following powers and duties:
   (A)   Perform all services incident to the Department of Law;
   (B)   Attend all meetings;
   (C)   Give advice in writing, when so requested, to the Mayor and Council or the director of any department;
   (D)   May prosecute or defend, as the case may be, all suits or cases to which the town may be a party;
   (E)   Prepare all contracts, bonds and other instruments in writing in which the town is concerned, and to endorse on each his or her approval of the form and correctness thereof; and
   (F)   Perform all duties imposed by law, the Charter and town ordinances.
