For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
APARTMENT HOUSE. Any building or portion thereof used as a multiple dwelling for the purpose of providing three or more separate dwelling units which may share means of egress and other essential factors.
CONDOMINIUM DWELLING UNIT. An apartment.
DWELLING. A building occupied exclusively for residential purposes and having:
(1) One dwelling unit;
(2) Two dwelling units; or
(3) One dwelling unit with not more than five boarders or roomers served with meals or sleeping accommodations or both.
DWELLING UNIT. A single unit providing complete, independent living facilities for one or more persons including permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking and sanitation.
MULTIFAMILY DWELLING. A building or portion thereof containing three or more dwelling units; including tenement houses, apartment houses and flats.
TOWNHOUSE. A single-family dwelling unit constructed in a series or group of attached units with property lines separating the units.
