§ 30.16 MAYOR PRO TEMPORE; DUTIES.
   At its organizational meeting, the Council shall elect from among its members a Mayor pro tempore to serve at the pleasure of the Council. In case of the absence or disability of the Mayor, the Mayor pro tempore shall act as Mayor during the continuance of the absence or disability.
