§ 35.101 FUNDING.
   (A)   The Tourism Commission shall annually submit to the City Council a request for funds for the operation of the Commission for the ensuing year. The Council shall provide funds for the operation of the Tourism Commission in its annual budget.
   (B)   The funds collected from the taxes imposed by §§ 38.15, 38.30 through 38.38 shall be maintained by the City Treasurer in a special fund and disbursed to the Pineville Tourism Commission in accordance with the budget request approved by the city. All such money shall be used solely for the purpose of promoting recreational, convention, and tourist activity in the city as set out in KRS 91A.390, and shall not be used to provide a subsidy in any form to any hotel, motel, or restaurant. Any money not expended by the Tourism Commission during any fiscal year will be used to make up a part of the Commission’s budget for the next fiscal year.
