The Planning Commission shall elect a chairperson and any other officers which it deems necessary from its citizen members for a term of one year. Any officer shall be eligible for re-election. The Commission, with approval of the City Council, may employ a staff as it may deem necessary for its work and may contract with professional planners and other parties for such services as it may require.
