The Housing and Unsafe Building Code (most current edition), suggested by the state’s Department of Commerce, a copy of which is hereby made a part of the public records of the city, is hereby adopted and are incorporated and made a part of this chapter, by reference, and shall control the erection, construction, and/or repair of all buildings in the city.
