(A) It shall be a requirement, in order to be eligible for service as a City Council member, that any elected member of the Council keep currently paid all taxes due and owing the city and that any Council member who has overdue taxes shall be ineligible to sit and serve on the City Council.
(B) As used herein, TAXES shall include ad valorem taxes, automobile privilege licenses, and occupational taxes.
