Any person who continues any violation beyond the time limit provided for shall be guilty of a violation of this chapter, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in accordance with § 52.999. Each day in which such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense. In addition to the penalties provided herein, the Commission or city may recover reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, court reporter’s fees, and other expenses of litigation by appropriate suit at law against the person found to have violated the chapter or the orders, rules, regulations, and permits issued hereinunder.
