§ 36.30 REMOVAL OF OFFICERS.
   The Mayor and City Council, so far as they can legally do, reserve the right to remove any or all of police officers for good cause. Each said officer hereafter appointed or employed by the city shall, by accepting such office or employment, accept the provisions of this chapter as a part of his or her contract of employment by the city, including this section, and consent that he or she is subject to removal by the Mayor and City Council at any time for legal cause after due hearing of charges preferred against him or her therefor.
