(A) While on duty, the police officers shall maintain contact with the police radio system and shall not attend programs of entertainment in theaters or other places of amusement for their own recreation or amusement.
(B) While on duty, the police officers shall remain within the corporate limits of the city and shall not depart therefrom except when necessary for the proper discharge of a duty prescribed by law.
(C) No police officer shall engage in political activities while on duty, either supporting or opposing any candidate or question to be voted for at any primary or regular election.
(D) All police officers shall be sober while on duty. Being under the influence of one alcoholic drink, large or small, during prescribed hours of duty, shall be sufficient cause for dismissal from the Police Department, suspension from duty without pay, or other disciplinary action by the Mayor and City Council.
