§ 31.04 ADMINISTRATION OF DEPARTMENT.
   (A)   The Chief of Police, subject to the direction of the Board of Commissioner and through supervision by the Public Safety Commissioner, shall have charge of the police force.
   (B)   He, she, or they shall assign such duties and uniforms as he, she, or they thinks best for the good order of the town, and he, she, or they shall be responsible to the Public Safety Commissioner in seeing to it that the police officers faithfully perform their duties.
   (C)   The Chief shall keep the Public Safety Commissioner informed of the Department’s activities and make such reports that the Board of Commissioners or the Public Safety Commissioner may from time to time require.
