§ 96.03 HOUSE NUMBERING.
   (A)   (1)   On the avenues (running east and west), numbers shall progress eastward and westward from Walnut Street.
      (2)   In the progression westward from Walnut Street on all avenues, numbers on lots shall increase in increments of ten, beginning with the number five on the north side, and in increments of ten, beginning with the number ten on the south side.
      (3)   In the progression from Walnut Street eastward on all avenues, numbers on lots shall increase in increments of ten, beginning with the number five on the south side, and in increments of ten, beginning with the number ten, on the north side.
   (B)   (1)   On the streets (running north and south), numbers shall progress both northward and southward from Philadelphia Avenue.
      (2)   In the progression northward from Philadelphia Avenue on all streets, numbers on lots shall increase in increments of ten, beginning with the number five, on the east side, and in increments of ten, beginning with the number ten, on the west side.
      (3)   In the progression southward from Philadelphia on all streets, numbers on lots shall increase in increments of ten, beginning with the number five, on the west side, and in increments of ten, beginning with the number ten, on the east side.
   (C)   (1)   To assist rescue and emergency personnel to locate houses in the town, all house owners shall ensure that house numbers are clearly visible from the street on which the house is located.
      (2)   The house number must be clearly visible in daylight and also visible during hours of darkness, when illuminated from the street.
