(A) For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY. The city of Pinckneyville, Illinois.
LICENSE. A license issued under this chapter or by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission, as the context may require.
LICENSED PREMISES. The entire tract of land described in any license and all buildings thereon.
LICENSEE. Any person or entity to whom a license is issued.
LIQUOR CONTROL ACT or THE ACT. “An Act Relating to Alcoholic Liquors,” ILCS Ch. 235, Act 5, approved January 21, 1934, as now in force and hereafter amended.
(B) When words or phrases are used in this chapter which are defined in ILCS Ch. 235, Act 5, Art. I, such words or phrases shall have the meaning and are used in this chapter in the sense given them in ILCS Ch. 235, Act 5, Art. I.
