§ 94.13 POSTING SIGNS IN PUBLIC PLACES.
   (A)   Definitions. For the purpose of this section the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      PUBLIC PLACE. Any electric power pole, telephone pole, boulevard, sidewalk or other location upon which a sign is displayed or affixed, other than the interior of a building or structure.
      SIGN. Any sign or placard advertising either the date of, time of, location of, or directions to a yard sale, tag sale, auction sale, fund raising event, or other event, or any combination of the foregoing.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation or organization to allow to remain on any public place a sign for more than 24 hours after the date of the occurrence of such yard sale, tag sale, auction sale, fund raising event, or other event.
   (C)   In the event that any person, firm, corporation or organization allows such sign to remain on any public place for more than 24 hours after the date of the occurrence of such yard sale, tag sale, auction sale, fund raising event, or other event, the city may remove said sign from such public place.
   (D)   In the event that any person, firm, corporation or organization allows such yard sale sign to remain on any public place for more than 24 hours after the date of the occurrence of such yard sale, tag sale, auction sale, fund raising event, or other event, and said sign is removed by the city, the person, firm, corporation or organization having such event shall be cited with violation of this section.
   (E)   Violations of this section shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $750 per occurrence, to be assessed in the discretion of the court.
