All that part or the city embraced within the following limits shall be known as the “fire limits” of the city, to-wit: Beginning at the intersection or South Main and West Randolph Streets, thence west on West Randolph Street to Perry Street, thence north on Perry Street to Laurel Street, thence east on Laurel Street to Locust Street, thence south on Locust Street to Mulberry Street, thence west on Mulberry Street to South Main Street, thence south on South Main Street to the place or beginning.
