(A) All revenue and all money derived from the operation of the sewerage system shall be deposited in the sewerage account of the sewerage fund. All the revenue and money shall be held by the City Treasurer separate and apart from his or her private funds and separate and apart from all other funds of the city and all of the sum, without any deductions, shall be delivered to the Treasurer not more than ten days after receipt of them, or at more frequent intervals as, from time to time, may be directed by the Mayor and City Council.
(B) The Treasurer shall receive all the revenue from the sewerage system and all other funds and money incident to the operation of the system as it may be delivered to him or her and deposit it in the account of the fund designated as the Sewerage Fund of the City. The Treasurer shall administer the fund in every respect and in the manner provided by statute of the Revised Cities and Villages Act, January, 1942.
