§ 52.066 REQUIREMENT IF EXTENSION IS INSTALLED BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN THE CITY.
   (A)   The Council must approve all plans and specifications for any extension prior to installation. All water main extensions must be a minimum of six inches in diameter. Before any extensions are installed, plans and specifications must be reviewed and approved by the State of Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
   (B)   Ownership, rights of way, and title must be conveyed to the city for all extensions installed by anyone other than the city. The city will maintain the mains once they are completed and accepted into the system.
   (C)   No extension will be permitted if, in the opinion of the Council, the system does not have the necessary capacity to serve the proposed extension.
