(A) The charge to be made for final meter reading, if service is transferred to the name of another customer, shall be $5. If service is discontinued when the final meter reading is taken, a $10 fee will be charged before service will be re-established, upon later application for service.
(B) Requests for voluntary discontinuance of water or sewer service must be made to the City Clerk by the customer at least two working days before the day the service is to be turned off.
(C) Responsibility for payment for water and sewer service before the date of termination shall be with the property owners as well as the customer.
