(A) (1) Pursuant to Section 11-74.4-4.2 of the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act, ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 11-74.4-1, et seq. (the “TIF Act”), the city is required to establish certain “interested persons” registries and adopt registration rules for those registries.
(2) The city desires to adopt this section in order to comply with requirements of the TIF Act.
(B) The City Clerk, or his or her designee, is hereby authorized and directed to create an “interested persons” registry in accordance with ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 11-74.4-4.2 of the TIF Act for each redevelopment project area created under the TIF Act and not terminated by the city, whether now existing or created after the date of the adoption of this section.
(C) In accordance with Section 11-74.4-4.2 of the Act, the city hereby adopts the registration rules attached to Ord. 0-2000-15 as Exhibit “A” as registration rules for each “interested persons” registry. The City Clerk, with the consent of the City Attorney as to form and legality, shall have the authority to amend such registration rules from time to time as may be necessary or desirable to comply with and carry out the purposes intended by the TIF Act.
