(A) The members of the Board shall be considered officers of the municipality and shall file with the City Clerk, an oath and a fidelity bond, which bond shall be in the amount of $1,000.
(B) No person holding an office in the city shall be a member of the Board and the acceptance of any such office by a member of the Board shall be treated as a resignation.
(C) No person shall be appointed a member of the Board who:
(1) Has been convicted of a felony;
(2) Is related, either by blood or marriage up to the degree of first cousin, to any elected official of the city.
(D) No more than two members of the Board shall belong to the same political party. Party affiliation shall be determined by affidavit of the person appointed as a member of the Board.
