This subchapter does not apply to:
(A) Veterinary clinics in possession of such animals or reptiles for treatment or rehabilitation purposes;
(B) Non-resident circuses for no longer than one seven-day period, per each separate location where such circus is held within the town per calendar year;
(C) Non-resident carnivals for no longer than one seven-day period, per each separate location where such carnival is held within the town per calendar year; and/or
(D) Persons temporarily transporting such animals or reptiles through the town, provided that such transit time shall not be more than 24 hours.
