(A) The owner of an impounded animal shall be entitled to redeem such animal, except as provided in this subchapter, upon compliance with the license provision of this chapter, the payment of all county redemption fees and upon furnishing proof of ownership. Any animal redeemed which has not been inoculated against rabies shall be so inoculated within two weekdays of redemption and failure of the owner of the animal to cause the dog or cat to be so inoculated shall be unlawful.
(B) All fines imposed by the town must be paid before redemption to the owner. Proof of payment must be provided to the County Animal Shelter before redemption to the owner.
(C) Redemption fees provided in this section shall be set by the Town Board for each animal. See fee schedule.
