§ 113.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   COAL. Includes any material composed predominantly by hydrocarbons in a solid state.
   GRAVEL. Small stones or fragments of stone intermixed with particles of sand and dirt.
   LOADING AND UNLOADING FACILITIES. Includes, but is not necessarily limited to, coal ramps, tipples, loading docks, and other devices for the loading of coal into railroad cars, trucks, or other apparatus for the transportation of coal, hoppers for the loading of sand and gravel, and other apparatus for the loading of sand and gravel.
   OPERATOR. Any individual, firm, partnership, corporation, organization, or association engaged in the actual operation of the loading and unloading facilities described in this section. The term OPERATOR is not synonymous with ownership of these facilities.
   SAND. Fine particles of stone and other silica bearing substances not reduced to dust.
   TON. A short ton of 2,000 pounds.
