(A) Commission established. A Department of Redevelopment is hereby established, to be known as the Redevelopment Commission.

(B) Powers. The Redevelopment Commission shall operate with all the powers, obligations and privileges authorized under I.C. 36-7-14-1 et seq. and 36-7-25 et seq. as the same are presently in force and effect, or as they may be amended.

(C) Obligations. The town hereby accepts all the obligations and responsibilities set forth according to said statutes.

(D) Annual report. The Redevelopment Commission shall annually report to the Town Council at the first regularly scheduled meeting of the Council in January of each year.

(E) Membership. Pursuant to the provisions of said statutes, the Redevelopment Commission shall consist of five members. Three of the members shall be appointed by the Town Council President, and two members shall be appointed by the Town Council.

(F) T.I.F. District.
(1) By way of Res. 12-1-94 adopted by the Redevelopment Commission on December 14, 1994, and confirmed by Res. RDC-1-1-95 adopted by the Redevelopment Commission on February 1, 1995, and approved by the Town Council on February 13, 1995, the following were, among other things, established:
(a) An economic development area;
(b) An economic development plan; and
(c) Allocation areas.
(2) A map of the area is attached to the ordinance codified in this section, marked Exhibit F. Resolutions, plans and other records of action by the Redevelopment Commission are in the records of the Commission, are not being reprinted in this code, but are included by reference.
