(A) Employees will continue to receive full pay while on leave for 15-day training assignments and shorter absences. Pay will be equal to the number of hours that an employee would have worked in the 15-day period. The portion of any military leave of absence in excess of 15 days will be unpaid. However, employees may use any available vacation benefits or personal days for the absence.
(B) Continuation of health insurance benefits is available as required by USERRA based on the length of the leave and subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of the applicable plans for which the employee is otherwise eligible. Benefits to include vacation, sick leave, personal days, holidays and bereavement leave, will be suspended during the leave, after the first 30 days and will resume upon the employee’s return to active employment.
