§ 31.17 REST AND MEAL PERIODS.
   (A)   Each workday, nonexempt employees may be provided with rest and meal periods, at the discretion of the department head or the Clerk-Treasurer. To the extent possible, rest and meal periods will be provided in the middle of work periods. Rest periods are counted and paid as time worked, employees must not be absent from their workstations beyond the allotted rest period time. Nonexempt employees will be relieved of all of their duties during a meal period and are required to clock in and clock-out, as meal periods are not paid by the town.
