§ 92.20 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   DWELLING UNIT. The part of a structure used or intended to be used as a single housekeeping unit. Further, any room within a building or structure used or intended to be used for cooking and sleeping shall be considered as a DWELLING UNIT in and of itself so as to require a smoke detector in such room. It is therefore possible that, for the purposes of this subchapter, there may be more than one DWELLING UNIT within a single housekeeping unit.
   HOUSEKEEPING UNIT. The part of a building occupied or intended to be occupied by one or more persons but as one single housekeeping group as distinguished from separate occupancies.

   LEASE or RENTAL. Any building that contains living quarters for one or more occupancies, and shall include hotels, motels, boarding houses, sleeping room houses and any other buildings of mixed occupancy and shall hereinafter be referred to as lease or rental, single or multiple dwellings.

   MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING UNIT. Any building that contains living quarters for two or more occupancies, and shall include hotels, motels, boarding houses, sleeping room houses and buildings of mixed occupancy and shall hereinafter be referred to as MULTIPLE DWELLINGS.
