For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DRIVER’S LICENSE. A valid license, issued by Indiana or any other state, to operate a motor vehicle.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. Liability insurance coverage on a golf cart in an amount not less than required by applicable state law for motor vehicles operated on public highways within the state.
GOLF CART. A vehicle with four wheels originally designated for operation on a golf course and powered by a battery or internal combustion motor, including the use of utility vehicle (UTV), with a maximum speed limit of less than 25 mph.
