(A) In order to be authorized for operation on the streets and highways of the village, an ATV or UTV must be registered in the office of the Village Clerk-Treasurer, and a registration sticker will be issued upon submitting proof the following:
(1) Written documentation from the Municipal Street Superintendent indicating that the ATV or UTV has been inspected and complies, in full, with the equipment requirements identified in § 72.03;
(2) Proof of liability insurance coverage for the ATV or UTV while operating such vehicle on a street or highway; and
(3) A $20 annual fee for registration of the ATV or UTV.
(B) Upon compliance with the registration requirements identified herein, the Village Clerk-Treasurer shall issue a registration sticker for the ATV or UTV being registered. The registration sticker will entitle the ATV or UTV to be operated on the streets and highways of the village from January 1 in any year to December 31 and shall be renewable annually. The annual fee shall not be prorated. Said registration sticker must be prominently displayed upon said ATV or UTV at all times while such vehicle is in operation on the streets and highways of the village.
