§ 1385.11 STAYING OF WORK ON PREMISES.
When an appeal from the decision of any official or board has been taken and filed with the Board of Zoning Appeals, all proceedings and work on the premises in question shall be stayed (by written notice of the Board Secretary sent to the property owner by certified mail) unless the official or Planning Commission from whom or which the appeal was taken shall certify to the Board of Zoning Appeals that by reasons of facts stated in the certificate a stay would cause imminent peril to life or property. In such cases, proceedings or work shall not be stayed except by a restraining order which may be granted by the Circuit Court of the county.
