A person who violates any provision of the zoning ordinance for the city shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not less than $10 and not more than $300, or other such amounts set by Council from time to time, for each and every offense, and each day that they shall continue such violation after notification shall constitute a separate offense punishable by a separate fine or penalty.
