The purpose of this district is to regulate land use and development in areas that are considered environmentally sensitive which may include 100-Year Flood Plain Districts, river fronts, public recreation areas, steep slopes, landslide-prone areas, undermined areas, and views requiring protection. The intent of this district lies in the concern for safety and the need to protect the natural beauty of the city’s physical environment.
