§ 929.14 DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICE.
   (a)   The Company reserves the right to shut off the supply of electric service for any of the following reasons:
      (1)   Repair, alteration or extension of Company facilities;
      (2)   Enforcement of air quality, water quality or other environmental standards;
      (3)   Fraudulent act or representation by customer in the procurement or use of electric service;
      (4)   Any disapproval by Company of the customer’s equipment or installation by virtue of its being or becoming defective or otherwise unsafe or objectionable;
      (5)   Customer’s premises have been abandoned or are in such condition as to create a hazard to service facilities or to persons on or about such premises;
      (6)   Placement or maintenance by customer of any building or structure which in the opinion of the Company constitutes a hazard to service facilities or to persons on or about the premises;
      (7)   Customer’s premises become flooded or are threatened with flooding;
      (8)   Failure by customer to maintain effective ground connection in compliance with requirements of National Electrical Code;
      (9)   Non-payment of any bill, as herein provided;
      (10)   Violation or noncompliance by customer with any rule or regulation herein set forth;
      (11)   Whenever such action is necessary to protect the Company from fraud or abuse; or
      (12)   Upon cancellation of contract.
   (b)   When the service has been discontinued for any reason other than subsections (a)(1) and (a)(2) above, a charge to the customer equivalent to the cost to the Company of making the disconnection and reconnection, payable before reconnection, will be made. If service has been discontinued for the reason in subsection (a)(9) the customer must pay all past due charges prior to reconnection of service. Prior to discontinuance of service the Company will notify the customer thereof in accordance with then current requirements of the West Virginia Public Service Commission.
