In compliance with W.Va. Code Article 2-2, all city employees will observe the following holidays:
(a) New Year’s Day, being January 1;
(b) Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, being the third Monday in January;
(c) President’s Day, being the third Monday in February;
(d) Good Friday, being the Friday before Easter Sunday;
(e) Memorial Day, being the last Monday in May;
(f) Juneteenth Day, being June 19;
(g) West Virginia Day, being June 20;
(h) Independence Day, being July 4;
(i) Labor Day, being the first Monday in September;
(j) Columbus Day, being the second Monday in October;
(k) Veterans Day, being November 11;
(l) Thanksgiving Day, being the fourth Thursday in November;
(m) Day after Thanksgiving, being the fourth Friday in November;
(n) Christmas Eve Day, being December 24;
(o) Christmas Day, being December 25; and
(p) New Years Eve, being December 31.
