§ 11-107. Public Health Emergency Closures of the Right-of-Way. 9.1
   (1)   The Streets Department is hereby authorized to establish by regulation procedures for application, implementation, and enforcement of permits for temporary Right-of-Way closure to protect public health, welfare and safety during a declared public health emergency, including for expansion of business uses that cannot operate in indoor environments or have limited indoor capacity and/or service due to the COVID-19 emergency, including closure of all of the street or limited portions, such as on-street parking spaces.



   Added, Bill No. 200352 (approved June 26, 2020). Section 2 of Bill No. 200352 provides: "This Ordinance shall be effective immediately and shall remain in effect until December 31, 2020, unless further extended by ordinance." The effective date was extended until December 31, 2021, by Bill No. 200498 (approved December 1, 2020).
